Thanks for dropping by. I hope you decide to stop a while and take a look around. If so, you’ll find these pages are largely devoted to the three major areas of interest that have dominated my life – words, pictures and travel.
I’m a novelist, screenwriter and nomad. So far, I’ve travelled in over seventy countries around the world but have yet to find one to call home.
My latest novel, a thriller called IMPLICATED is my first foray into indie publishing and I’ve enjoyed the experience so much that I’m now republishing my “back-list” as indie ebooks including the Betty Trask Award-winning KISSING THROUGH A PANE OF GLASS, the chiller BECAUSE IT MAKES MY HEART BEAT FASTER and the paranormal romance DANIEL’S DREAM.
I’ve also written the hallucinatory and rather strange THE UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE (writing as Tyler Montreux) – I refer to it as my Tom Robbins homage. A short story THE FIG TREE is also available on Amazon and I have a new series of detective stories planned.
So check back, subscribe or follow me on Twitter to find out when my next novel TOUCHED BY A GOD OR SOMETHING is due to hit the virtual shelves!
LOVED ‘Implicated’ and just posted a five-star review on Amazon. Spent 21 yrs in LA and had much traffic in the Camarillo/Oxnard/Ventura/Ojai world and your references rang true. Great work, PM.
Hi Alex – thank you so much for your comment and the fantastic review on Amazon which is greatly appreciated. I’m particularly pleased that you found it authentic as I’m a British writer who was fortunate enough to live in Ojai – just loved SoCal.
You’re a screenwriter? Have you written any scripts I might have heard of? I’ve always wanted to learn screenwriting because I like to write in different formats, but the technical stuff scares me, especially when I’m too busy. So anyway, from all the places you’ve been, which is your favorite? I really wish I could travel more, but I am somewhat of a nomad as well.
Your story is fabulous and uplifting… love your attitude. I’m so glad I visited! Thanks for sharing.
